"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

If you'd like to help me expand my dictionary, plz add a comment at the relevant journal. To be extra helpful, plz categorise them as I have and put a space between each icon. EXCEPT FOR the plzes which come as a set (e.g. the large ones).
(Please note I don't go online very often.)
. Asian Man Plzes . Includes the plzes with the asian man who points and has red letters around him.
. Flat Smiley Plzes . The more common smiley plz that you see around, the most obvious of which is imhappyplz.
. Round(ish) Plzes . A random set of shiny smileys which I think are a nice alternative to the above.
. Sentence Construction Plzes . If you wanted to make a sentence all with plzes, you might need the equals sign, or a speech bubble. Includes thought bubbles as well.
. Action Plzes . Plzes which rarely work well on their own, e.g. shooting or stabbing someone.
. Journal Decoration and Sentence Plzes . Plzes which, when strung together, form a sentence or phrase, e.g. 'Thanks for the fave!' or 'Why So Serious?' - or help you decorate your journal. This category also includes dA-related messages about commenting, etc.
. Common Statement Plzes . Includes plzes that say 'EPIC WIN', 'LOL' and such. Now includes common hand gestures.
